Some of the best days in Marbella are the ones that bring people together. And with every passing year, our annual padel tournament seems to get bigger and better.

On Saturday, 10 October, Homerun Brokers returned to Nueva Alcántara Club (NAC) for the sixth edition of our annual padel tournament, bringing together 40 players from our community of valued clients and collaborators for a day of friendly competition, great company and plenty of memorable moments.

With the support of our sponsors PALAIR, Golden Concept, Salté, Electrolit, Los Naranjos Golf Club, Astoria and Nonna's, this year's event raised the bar once again, combining exciting matches, fantastic prizes and an afternoon of celebrations at NAC Soul.

PALAIR provided the players' clothing, making sure everyone looked the part both on and off the court. Golden Concept contributed with their luxury watch collection as the headline prize, while Salté and Electrolit kept players going with electrolytes throughout the matches.

Astoria and Nonna's generously donated restaurant vouchers, while additional prizes included green fee vouchers for Los Naranjos Golf Club, along with a Golden Concept wallet and keychain for our afternoon raffle.

From the very first serve, the competitive spirit was in full swing. With plenty of talent on display, the courts came alive with impressive rallies, fierce determination and some seriously good padel as teams battled their way towards the semi-finals.

As the tournament progressed, the stakes got higher and the atmosphere grew even more electric, with players and spectators cheering from the sideline.

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the men's division final, where Sweden and Argentina went head-to-head in a thrilling showdown. Both teams brought their A-game, delivering an exciting match that had everyone watching until the very last point.

Ultimately, Argentina claimed the victory, taking home the title after a fantastic display of skill and teamwork.

After an exciting morning of competition, the celebrations continued at NAC Soul, where players and guests came together for a well-earned lunch. With a live DJ set, the afternoon was filled with great food, music and even better company.

What I enjoy most about this tournament is seeing people connect outside their usual routines. Marbella has an incredible international community and events like this remind us that the relationships we build here go far beyond business. That's something we've always valued at Homerun.

The celebrations included a raffle and prize giving, with everything from restaurant vouchers and golf green fees to Golden Concept gifts up for grabs. As the afternoon unfolded, everyone enjoyed a few drinks, caught up with familiar faces and celebrated another successful tournament.

But beyond the competition, what makes this event so special is the community it brings together. It's an opportunity to connect with the clients, friends and collaborators who make Marbella such a unique place to live and work.

We're already looking forward to the seventh edition, with even more great padel, familiar faces and a little friendly rivalry.
